The last night of women's artistic gymnastics closed with a bang as a former Olympic beam champ lost the bronze in a tie breaker, a diva gave a final performance of a successful Olympic Games and oh, yeah. Aly Raisman. Scored. Gold!

With the men completing their qualifying round today, the women are slated to go next to see who makes the cut.

The same rules apply: the top 8 qualifying teams will advance to the team final. The top 24 individual all around gymnasts will make the all around final. The top 8 gymnasts from each event will advance to the event finals. Again, the two ( Read more... )

The final results from the men's qualifier are in and USA is still on top. Edging ahead of Russia who placed second, placing team GB in third.

The USA men just finished their qualifying round with some really awesome and surprising results. Underdogs pulled their way up the ranks, and certain gymnasts went 1-2 for the all-around competition.

Two freaking weeks. I'm freaking pumped for the Olympics. In getting pumped to cheer on Team USA,I have compiled this list of things that I hope to see at the Olympics.

Following suit of the Romanian's the Russian's have also announced their teams for the Olympic games. I've only gotten word of the women's team so that's who I will be focusing on.

There really aren't any surprises, save for a veteran that may have been able to contribute but I digress.

The trials have come to a close and USA Gymnastics has selected 10 amazing gymnasts to compete and six alternates.  While those dreams came true, the dreams of others were dashed.

The story so far-

Jordyn Wieber is a two-time national champion and Gabby Douglass et all are right on her heels trying to catch up to her. Nastia Liukin is trying to regain her Beijing 2008 Olympian status and keeps falling short.

John Orozco usurped Danell Leyva as the national champ for the men.
